If you use any of the Aeropost Services, you will be responsible for keeping the confidentiality of your account number and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you accept all responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. Aeropost does not sell or provide services to minors, in the event that accounts are opened by minors, Aeropost reserves the right to cancel or close them permanently. Communication

When you use our services, the website, the chat function, emails, messages via electronic platforms or SMS, you are communicating electronically with us at Aeropost.

About Processing In Miami (“Miami address”).

Each tracking number represents an individual package (“Shipment”), even if the shipment includes multiple items and/or documents. Each individual piece of a multi-piece shipment will be treated as an individual shipment and will be charged according to the Aeropost Service rates.

Aeropost reserves the right to refuse receipt of shipments if it is found that they have been opened, tampered with or damaged prior to arrival. Aeropost offers a service for each shipment and does not offer a Consolidation Service. Aeropost does not transport cash, drugs or other items prohibited or restricted by the legislation of the United States of America or the destination countries. Aeropost is responsible for reporting these violations to the appropriate government authorities.

In order to avoid delays in service, Aeropost reserves the right to assign a market value to any item not pre-alerted that doesn't come with a document (invoice) indicating its value at the time of inspection at our operations center in Miami. .

In the event that the value declared by the customer is less than the market value of the item and this results in a value adjustment by a local customs inspector, Aeropost will transfer the amount of the adjustment and any penalties incurred for a bad customs declaration.

Shipments may be held at the Miami address for up to sixty (60) days due to, but not limited to, unpaid bills, non-payment, additional preparation for the shipping process, or receipt shipments with mistakes in beneficiary name , address and Aeropost account number. Aeropost reserves the right to destroy or dispose, at its own discretion, of any shipment that has not been claimed or that has been stored for more than sixty (60) days at the Miami address, or the Aeropost facility in the country of destination.

Aeropost transports shipments from the address in Miami to its final address, including customs service and delivery directly to the Customer. These services are charged according to the rate table published on Aeropost.com.

Compliance For Miami Processing Service (“Miami Address”).

Aeropost complies with all applicable laws of the United States of America and of the destination countries when offering the Aeropost Services. To enable such compliance, you agree to provide Aeropost with legal and accurate information about your Name, Address, telephone numbers, email and payment information when necessary. You, the Customer, also agree to:

  • Complete US Postal Service form number 1583
  • Provide two (2) forms of identification, one (1) valid government-issued photo ID
  • Authorize Aeropost to review and inspect all shipments, packages and cargo
  • Allows the US Border Patrol to inspect and seize prohibited items outside the US
  • You agree that Aeropost abides by US security regulations when processing and preparing material to be shipped by air, including the transportation of Dangerous Goods, which may incur additional costs.

Correspondence

Aeropost is recognized as a Commercial Mail Receiving Agent (“CMRA”) by the United States Postal Service (“USPS”) and is required to comply with all USPS regulations. . Please note that not all correspondence (“mail”) is duty free. Duty payment may be required on certain types of mail such as magazines, promotional material and books. The Customer is responsible for the full payment of the cost of transportation and taxes that are incurred.

Aeropost identifies spam as prepaid sponsored mail delivered by the US Postal Service, including items such as free catalogs and unsolicited promotional material. Aeropost will credit your account for spam based on its weight. The Customer will need to return the spam to get the credit.

Pricing and payment for Miami Processing Service (“Miami address”) and Correspondence

Aeropost offers Customers an updated rate table here http://aeropost.com/site/en/bring-rates. Aeropost reserves the right to modify its rates when necessary and without prior notice, according to market conditions and supplier prices.

Purchases that arrive at the Miami address will be subject to additional charges related to transportation to the destination country, and Customs Duties, as determined by local authorities.

Aeropost will carry out all the necessary steps to clear items from Customs, without prior authorization from the Customer, for all shipments that have a CIF value of less than USD $1,000. If the shipment exceeds this amount, Aeropost will request authorization and advance payment from the Customer before removing the item from Customs. Aeropost delivers and processes all the requirements regarding permits and tax exemptions in accordance with the legislation of each country.

Aeropost is not responsible for additional charges made by any financial institution or payment platform chosen by the Customer to pay Aeropost services. This includes, but is not limited to, accrued interest on credit cards used to make purchases at Aeropost.com and whose delivery exceeds the normal billing cycle. Additionally, Aeropost will not be responsible for any fees or charges applied by the payment platform for making international transactions through Aeropost.com, My Account or other merchants.

Aeropost offers Heavyweight service for some Latin American and Caribbean countries under its Miami Processing Service (“the Miami address”). To use this service, the minimum weight of the shipment is 40 KG. Any shipment below this weight does not apply for this service, and would automatically become a regular shipment.

All packages received at Aeropost to Heavyweight accounts will be held until the time the shipment is scheduled and, consequently, its release.

Package deliveries under the Heavy Weight program will be only to home addresses, and it is not available for pickup at stores or branches.

We offer Customers an updated rate table that includes the Heavyweight rate (http://aeropost.com/site/es/traer-tarifas). Aeropost reserves the right to modify its rates when necessary and without prior notice, in accordance with market conditions and supplier prices.

AEROPOST.COM Order Processing

By purchasing through Aeropost.com, you are contracting the services of Aeropost.com, an entity legally constituted under the laws of the United States of America. Purchases made by Aeropost.com (“Orders”) are intermediary transactions and Aeropost is not the seller of record.

Compliance for Aeropost.com Orders

Aeropost.com complies with all applicable laws of the United States of America and the destination countries when making sales through Aeropost.com. To enable such compliance, you agree to accurately provide Aeropost.com with the following legal information:

  • One (1) valid government-issued photo ID
  • Provide your name, physical address, phone number(s) and email
  • Authorize Aeropost.com to review and inspect the contents of your order
  • Authorize the US Border Patrol US to review and inspect the contents of your order

Any price quoted will be valid for 48 hours.After 48 hours, the orders will have to be quoted again. Aeropost.com will not be responsible for price changes or out of stock after 48 hours of requesting additional information to execute the order.

All quoted orders are calculated in United States Dollars (USD) and may be shown in local currency for illustrative purposes only. All charges are in US dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted. If the payment requires a currency conversion, the exchange rate will be determined at the time Aeropost.com processes the payment and completes the transaction.

Purchases made through Aeropost.com are not subject to the payment of customs duties, since these are already included in the price of the order.

For Aeropost.com to recognize an order, it means that an order has been received; however, it does not imply that the request has been accepted or sent, or that the price or availability of the item has been confirmed. Aeropost.com makes an effort to accurately describe and display products and services on its website. Despite these efforts, a few items may have pricing or description errors, may not be available, and there may be delays in updating the website and listings on other sites. Refunds will be made by the same payment method by which the Customer paid for the purchase. Aeropost.com may generate an additional charge in the event of an error in the quote and will notify the Customer by email, the Customer may accept and pay the differential in the order or request its cancellation. Coupons And Promotions

From time to time, Aeropost may offer coupons and promotions. Each coupon or promotion may have additional terms and conditions specific to that coupon or promotion. Coupons can only be used during the corresponding promotional period and can only be applied to products available at Aeropost.com, with the exception of products restricted by local authorities, which require a special permit from Customs. This promotion will be valid only in combination with the payment methods available in your country.

Customers will only be able to avail of coupons and promotions through one account. The multiple use of coupons or individual promotions by a Customer, either through the duplication of orders or accounts, will be canceled immediately, Aeropost.com reserves the right to cancel or close the account(s) in case this happens. Coupons and promotions may not be used in combination with other promotions or coupons. Aeropost.com could immediately suspend any coupon or promotion, without incurring any liability, when fraudulent actions are detected.
