How it works?
Each time you place an Internet order and receive the tracking number (UPS, Fedex, DHL, USPS, etc.) from your supplier, you can pre-register your package information in MyAero.
Avoid delays in Customs
Follow this guide to increase the speed of your package processing by up to one week! That's right, PreAlerting your package will give it priority processing in Miami, which will help reduce your risk of missing a flight, and will give it priority customs clearance in the BVI. We will process PreAlerted packages upon arrival, before any others, since we will have all the information necessary to do so.*
The best way to notify us of your package information is by PreAlerting your package in our online account system. >>How to Create a PreAlert.
Our innovative PreAlert system will now ask you to attach your commercial invoice to each package. You will be able to attach all different types of files, JPG, GIF, PDF, TIFF, DOC, XLS, HTML, etc. or you can simply copy and paste the text of the invoice that your provider sends you through email.
PreAlerting and uploading your invoice allows your package to be processed faster both in Miami and through local customs. If you don't PreAlert all your packages with their corresponding invoices, you run the risk of your package taking longer than expected to be cleared from customs. |
Aeropost – Tortola Express offers the latest online tools to help you avoid any delays so that you receive your online purchases and shipments in the least amount of time and most secure way possible.
By PreAlerting your package with the correct value and invoice information you ensure that your package shipment is insured for the total value of your merchandise and not the minimum value of $100. |
If you choose you may still email us your invoices at parcels@tortolaexpress.com.
*Note that a PreAlert is not a requirement of using our system. It is merely a free way of expediting your package so that you may receive it even faster.
